This Privacy Policy explains how Tactgen Enterprises, which runs the mimibooo kids' clothing and toys store in Madurai and the website mimibooo.com ("mimibooo", "we", "us"), collects, uses and protects your personal data when you shop in our store, use our website, join our loyalty programme or receive messages from us, including on WhatsApp. We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 of India.

You can stop promotional messages at any time by replying STOP on WhatsApp or telling us at the counter. You will still get your bill and messages you ask for. WhatsApp is run by WhatsApp LLC / Meta; when we message you through it, your number and the message are processed by Meta under WhatsApp's own privacy policy. We never sell your number and never share it with other businesses for their marketing.
Our products are for children, but our customers are their parents and guardians. We collect a child's details only from the parent or guardian, with their consent, and only what we need for sizes and Star Rewards. We do not track children's behaviour, do not show targeted advertising to children and do not send messages to children. A parent can ask us to correct or remove a child's details at any time.
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the store, and only what they need:

Bills, invoices and accounts are kept for as long as GST and income-tax law require (generally at least six years). Other data (contact details, children's details, loyalty, message history) is kept while you are our customer and deleted or anonymised when you ask us to delete it, or after three years without any purchase.
Our billing system and website run on secure servers with encrypted (HTTPS) connections, backups and staff logins with limited access. Only staff who need your data for their work can see it.
You can ask us to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or withdraw your consent (for example, to stop WhatsApp offers). You can also nominate someone to act for you. See our Data Deletion Instructions for how to ask; we reply within 30 days.
